What data do I collect about you?
When you visit the Website, it automatically collects certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Website, it collects information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Website, and information about how you interact with the Website. The purpose of this is to get to know my visitors and better serve them with content.
Additionally, when you sign up to the Social Reef newsletter, I collect your name and e-mail address, you know, so I know how to reach you! You can expect no more than one newsletter a month, about current news in digital marketing, and my general ramblings. I promise you will get value out of each one!
I will never sell your data to any third party.
How do I collect data about you?
I collect information using the following technologies:

Please note that the Website’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
Finally, I sincerely hope it will never come to this, but I may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information I receive, or to otherwise protect my rights.
What are your rights?
If you are signed up for the Social Reef newsletter and you no longer want to receive e-mails from me, you can unsubscribe by simply clicking Unsubscribe at the bottom of any e-mail. You will be removed from the mailing list database within 10 days.
According to The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) residents of California, United States have specific rights regarding their Personal Data. California consumers have the right to 1) request that businesses disclose information about their collection and use of Personal Data over the past year; 2) ask such businesses to delete Personal Data; 3) opt-out of the sale of their Personal Data. You may request information or deletion of your personal data at the contacts in the Contact me section.
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information I hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact me according to the Contact me section.
Additionally, if you are a European resident I note that I am processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you, or otherwise to pursue my legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
How long will I keep your information?
When you sign up for the Social Reef newsletter through the Site, I will maintain your personal information for my records unless and until you ask me to delete this information.
